Things are finally getting better I think. I finally got my MAIN meds, been going to therapy, and making art of...Dr. Whooves. Yeah, a bit silly.

Okay let's get into the REAL meat and potatoes. Since last months, I've been fixated on Dr. Whooves as well as an image that showed 3 had a background pony assigned to him. I was a bit upset at first because I just made a pony design for him that had more of his likeness, but I got over it once I started drawing the blue one. I ended up giving him an earring to make him look pretty and I love how he's looking over all.

Anyways, shit hit the fan once I saw the description of Muffin HD (parody of MisterDavie's Cupcakes) had links to Doctor and Derpy rigs. I end up downloading a bunch of MLP rigs and also create a pony rig of 3. The sad thing about the rigs though, is they don't have positions for sitting, or standing at an angle, which is something I'd find in the official rigs. While I'm taking a break from pony rigs right now, I'm hoping to add those stuff into my rigs some time.

After that, I finally got myself drawing again. I know I haven't really posted any of my recent art here yet, but honestly I don't know if NG is the type of place for MLP stuff, let alone a weird Doctor Who crossover. I know it's a place for everyone, but I definitely still have a few stigma's to shake off before I consider posting more wilder stuff here. Also, backgrounds are still an issue I'm tackling.

I have a whole headcanon I'm working on as well as a possible story for it too. That should be about it for now.

I don’t know how long it’s been, but it’s been awhile. While I don’t have any new developments or things I’m working on, there are somethings I can talk about.

I’m not gonna lie, art wise, this year has been pretty lackluster. While I was able to improve on rendering (so much so it became more regular) my output sucked. I wasn’t making a lot of art, and found myself avoiding it more and more. That’s been more clear recently, as for a whole month I literally didn’t make anything new. I was also out of meds too and couldn’t get more till literally a few days ago. Thankfully this time I have backup meds and my regular which is nice, but it’s definitely made me more reliant on them for my creative output.

Over all I’ve just been in a slump and I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I’ve had a few theories as to why this is happening. I could be burn out, but I fear it might be worse. Not really caring about my art anymore. I hope that isn’t the case and I’m just burned out after years of nonstop art everyday. Or it’s just my dose is lower, and I should raise it a bit. I don’t want headaches and sleep deprivation like before. I can try to come with a reason why, but in the end it’s all on me.

I should probably clarify that it’s mostly digital art I’ve been lacking in. I have been drawing on paper, but that doesn’t feel as special as making a digital piece to me.

There is probably one thing I could talk about. I was messing with MultiPaint again, and coincidentally a trailer for a new anime about making PC-98 games and using MPS came out. I wasn’t able to make any good art, because holy shit I cannot draw with a mouse for the life of me, but I think I’ll take a look at that anime just to see if I can find ANY sign that I can use a pen to draw. Information on MPS is nonexistent anyway.

OH! I also uploaded MPS to the archive because I couldn’t find the Reddit post I originally got the file from and all the roms online don’t have any data on them.

I'm gonna be going through an art purge at the moment. There's stuff that I'm not proud of anymore, and has been getting under my skin as of late. so if you see any 404's, those have been altered and replaced with a new image. This will also apply to any audio I don't want up anymore. I was pretty stupid...

Boy it sure has been awhile! I finally got my Drivers License, lowered my meds, and got a new diagnosis for Autism! So I have both ADHD and Autism now. However, while I've made a lot of personal progress, my art has taken a back seat. I've been getting rusty, and have tried to avoid making literally anything for almost a month. I'm also gonna try cutting out other things in my life so I don't have to deal with it anymore.

Maybe if I have enough courage, I can delete all my socials, change my name, and start fresh. But I'll lose a lot of stuff if I do, so it's hard.

After asking people if they'd like me to release the unfinished fruits of my labor, I present the Violet Mod.

This build is from bbpanzu, who was the second coder for the mod. The last build isn't in my possession, but I am getting in contact with my last coder for the latest version of it.

FNF vs Violet Mod (Unreleased)

Hello Newgrounds! It's been awhile, like a month and a half. Yeah, I keep forgetting about this place. So what's new with me? I'd say not much, but there's some stuff worth talking about, as well as a break through I made with the PS2 Astro Boy models!

First off, I've been having Anton brain rot. I know I don't play games too much, but I was really happy with the Anton Blast Demo! Am I good at it, NO, but I like it a lot more than Pizza Tower. You get to go at your own pace, and the count down segments don't make me anxious. I never really like timers in games, they just put me under stress. Speaking of the comparisons to Pizza Tower, people have brought that up and can I just say, they really aren't worth comparing. PT is skill based high speed rank based, where as AB (so far that is) is more smashing and collecting stuff. I feel they are distinct enough from each other and even from Wario Land to be seen as their own thing.

Some changes to the game have been proposed and shown for demonstration on the Summit discord. One of them being the bounce mechanic. In the demo, you can bounce multiple times before hitting the ground. From what I remember, Tony said the bounce relied too much on timing, making it difficult to tell if you'll bounce again or not. So he made it more noticable. Another change I noticed was there are more boxes to jump on in the blimp section, as well as the hidden rooms missing in the demo being present now. Over all, things are looking up for the game! I still have yet to beat the first level. Yeah laugh at me.

The now for the Astro Boy models!

So for those who don't know, Sonic Team made a PS2 game for the 2003 Astro Boy anime back in 2004. Before I get the models, let's talk about the website stuff. Just like Sonic Adventure 1&2, Sonic Team made a website promoting both the game. Cosmical shared the special Wallpapers and other graphics from the site on Twitter! GOOGLE DRIVE FOR WALLPAPER HERE However, when they provided the archive link, almost all the download links were defunct. They said they got them a few years back, so thank god these got saved! I also went ahead and just saved a bunch of web graphics and any other files that still worked. Here are some PDFs I saved!

Alright, now for the big one! The MODELS!

For the past two years, me and Z1pp3r have been trying to rip the models from the game with no success. We aren't a bunch of geeks with knowledge on this, so all we could do was find any information we could and follow the one tutorial video that's like 7 years old. Well, someone within our community discovered that a random Deviant Art user posted pictures of Uran's model back in 2013. I sent them a message asking how they did it, and they said they used the exact same methods we did. This pretty much told me that the new versions of the emulators just didn't work with any of the programs needed to extract the models and textures.

So I took a gamble by using PCSX2 0.9.8 (from the archive bc the official site just didn't have the plugin required) and IT WORKED. I got all the textures for Astro and color corrected them. Now I just needed the model. Here's where things get shaky. The program used to convert the models to the correct proportions didn't work, or that's what I think it is. Right now I can't confirm nor deny it's the programs fault, but importing it to blender shows NOTHING but a dot. I looked up this issue and only one thread said there's nothing in the file. So I had no choice but to import the RAW file, unstretch it and dig Astro out of the over models. In the end, Zip dug him out, and here's what he looks like.

His proportions aren't correct, so this model is still unusable. With that said, I made a lot of progress and new discoveries that can help more of us try to extract the models. Now why didn't the conversion work? Well, it could be two things. One, the program is outdated and or I didn't put in the right WxH size. or Two, we're not using 3D Max which none of us are getting because it's expensive as FUCK even for the month subscription. So we still have a ways to go. I haven't tried Ninjaripper, but from what I've seen, it looks like it does the same thing the emulator does but flattens everything into a pancake. So it's useless.

Before I start things off, I want to clarify this is NOT an April Fools prank! This actually happened, and I took plenty of videos and pictures of the event.

As a kid, you are shown the damage fires can cause at school, from fire drills to watching videos about them. So I've always been wary of possible house fires. However, I never thought of the possibility of wild fires burning down my house. With regular house fires, you usually have a window of time to prevent the fire from spreading with a fire extinguisher, but with wild fires, YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OF THAT. The most you can do is follow some steps to mitigated the damage, or something like that, grab any pets you have hoping they don't run off, drive away, and pray to whatever god or religion you're part of the fire doesn't reach your house. Extra points if you have a water sprinkler!

Other than that, you're at the mercy of mother nature.

Now, I already stress about tornadoes hitting my house every year, so adding wild fires to that list doesn't help much. Yesterday, a wildfire was heading dangerously towards our house. At the time, I was just working on art stuff and the weather part of my taskbar said "possible fire" which I didn't take too seriously. Then my mom comes in and tells me we might have to leave later and that's when it got serious. We didn't leave for too long. We returned to the house and drove out a bit trying to see where the smoke was heading. I couldn't find any live streams from the helicopter constantly flying over us. All I could see was big balls of smoke filling the sky, almost like a storm.

Once we went back to the house a second time, we stayed outside the house, kept an eye on the smoke. Fire trucks came in, and some bulldozers. And from what my sisters said there was a storm chaser on facebook streaming it live and they saw me. Kinda cool. The fires were getting dangerously close, but most of the neighbors next to us stayed outside their houses just keeping an eye on things. They were pretty calm about it too. So I just went back in the house to do the things listed on wildfires. Close all the doors, turn off the ventilation, shut off the lights, the usual. During all this, I called my sisters in a group call and Rebel picked some food on the way home. The fire continued east from us and thankfully was far behind from the house. With that said, there were people who still lost their homes.

After everything had died down, I could still smell the sent of burning and I still do a bit. With the way I described this, I probably sound like an idiot who's only concerned about my house. I don't know if that makes me psychotic or what but I don't blame you. As a child I didn't fully understand the "It's okay, you can replace your belongings" thing, because that sounded like they would replace all your stuff for free. Including stuff that's NOT replaceable somehow. Now I know it's just insurance, but that doesn't change the fact that they don't cover everything. The fact is, unless your house is made of stone or some flame resistant material, you're going to lose access to some old games or movies you use to own. But yeah, those things aren't as important as your life.

Now I'm just thinking about my life in general. I couldn't sleep last night because I was told the fires could creep back. Meanwhile everyone is getting ready for April fools and I'm just trying to regain lost sleep. I hope everyone else is having a good time. Just know everything is fine where I'm at.

My house almost got hit by a wild fire and I'm still trying to process it. I'll make an edit tomorrow as I'm still wary of the fire returning tonight.

How's it going Newgrounds! Yep, it's been awhile since my last post. Things have rather slow lately, but I've been picking up my steam again! But time for some context...

Earlier this month, I wasn't doing a lot of creative works; a lot of thoughts running through my head. I didn't have much going for myself, and Twitter was (and still is sadly) really addictive to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Eventually one of my friends suggested I take a break from Twitter because I was clearly not in a good head space. Though at the time I'd spent most of the day doing outside work which helped, but they were right. I had gotten into a tangent the day before showing an ugly side of myself. One of my other friends even told me I wasn't posting as much art as I use to.

   So I tried doing some things I've been needing to get done for awhile. But in the end ♪It doesn't even matter♪. I still felt like crap, and most of my thoughts hadn't gone away. I needed to talk to someone, but it could be any of my friends. As much as I appreciate them putting up with my rambles, my thoughts only come back. So I message my oldest sister instead. I brought up one of my main issues I'd been dealing with, and she said she'd been in a similar situation before. While the advice she offered was one I've heard many times before, the way she explained it made so much more sense to me.

   Basically, I was fighting a fight that had been over for about a year. I was fighting with myself because I had no way of fighting with the other. And even when I tried it was met with a brick wall. So I had to let it go, because there was nothing else I could do.

Nowadays, I feel much better. My only worry is whether or not I can beat Pizza Tower because that game is HARD. I'm currently on the second floor, and it's now taking me multiple tries to beat one level. It's putting me in tears, causing my hands to shake, and hyperventilating while shouting at Peppino to "GET OUT OF THERE!!!". And with a video I saw of someone else struggling through a level where some MF will take you back to the start of the room if he catches you, I think my chances of beating Pizza Tower is 0 to none. But honestly, it's the best worry I've had in a long time.

With that said, I think I'm going to work on my art skills again. There are things I still suck at like backgrounds, but anatomy and body types are still snag. I want to draw people embracing each other like idiotdoodoohead or lovehaleylo do. Especially when it comes to body fat. Thankfully I found something to help me drive that, so expect a lot of gay middle aged men. I'm excited! :)

You know how I said I wasn't gonna make an Astro Boy mod? I change my mind.

I making an Astro Boy mod, but this time it WILL be a small mod. One song small. I will try to pack it with content, at least as much as a one song mod can have. I have a better feeling for this mod because it's something I'm more passionate about. Also I consider Therapy to be the best song I made. Don't expect it to be goofy, as it's based on that climax of the 2003 series. Very emotional stuff.
